So, Sunday we went down to Hobart for Prism 17: celebrating the diverse talents of autism, and I took some photos so I should share them.
The site was Rosny Farm, next door to Eastland, and there two parts, speakers in the big barn (see below)
and an art display in the Schoolhouse Gallery.
The Barn isn’t very good for taking photos, having no natural light except for the door and odd artificial lighting, but these are the better photos of the speaker
This is Paul Corfiatis, “Musician”.
Max Williams, “Mentor and Editor in Chief, I CAN Network“.
This and next one, Daniel Zomerdyk, “Singer”
This one and next, Geraldine Robertson, “Autistic Self-Advocacy Network”
This one and next one, Ben Lambert talking about his graphic novel.
Lisa Gershwin was the enthusiastic MC
and also a speaker as a “Jellyfish Researcher and Author”.
I missed a bit in here, mostly video presentations, because I was outside.
Alexander Johnston, talking about his personal story.
Then to finish off, another set of music by Paul Corfiatis.
This is the other building on the site, Rosny Cottage, but it wasn’t open. Inside it’s the usual old house museum set-up.
